Fellow WLBers,
As many of you have seen, I have been using the forum & homepage to disseminate information and news about the WLB. I prefer this method over email for the following reasons.
1) Everything posted is in one central location and can be accessed easily. 2) Conversations are more focused on forums rather than email. 3) The information is 100% available to all participants. 4) The information is available to prospective GMs and fans. 5) Less email received. 6) No upkeep of email addresses.
So as long as you check the WLB webpage and forums you will get all the information 100% of the time.
Thanks, Riley

New Commissioner
- BluesGM on
Thursday, 5 June 2008
Gary has done an outstanding job running the WLB for many years. Thank you Gary for all the great years! As he steps down, I have agreed to take over as commissioner to keep the league alive. I look forward to hearing of Gary's new ideas for the league in the future.
The following teams need to get under the cap immediately - Los Angeles, Unified Korea, and London. They will have 24 hours to do so. If they fail to within 24 hours, players will be released from their teams.
The sim will be run sometime between 24-48 hours from now.
Opening Day in the books!

Finally the WLB kicks off and a few surprises to start the year. With all the smack between Chicago and Toronto, the Towers open to an impressive 7-3 start while the Blues struggled going 3-7 out of the gate. We don't expect that to last.
The Tigers started off at 8-2 and are hoping the "Fear the Kitty" banners will be flying again in St Domingo.
Tokyo is the only undefeated team at 10-0 and may be poised to dominate the EH East division.
The Ravens lead the weak West division at 5-5 and experts predict a crazy race to come.
